NM Blackhawk 41 Magnum Flat Tops

I'm looking for information on a couple of Flat Top 41 Mags I found at LGS.

One is serialized in the Super Blackhawk range of 87-xxxxx with a 6 1/2" barrel.

The other is serialized in the 41 Magnum range with the 4 5/8" barrel starting at 48-xxxxx.

I've never been aware of any Flat Tops in 41 Magnum.

The dealer told me he ordered "regular" 41s, and they showed up as Flat Tops.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Hugh

Okay, so I'm not imagining them.

Was thinking of buying them both.

I have one of those 6 1/2" 41 mag FT guns and believe it is a past exclusive model for Williams Shooters Supply. Nice gun.

I'd love to find a 4 5/8" .41 Flat Top to convert to a Bisley.

The info (circa 2011) I have about the Williams Shooters Supply Ruger flattop .41 Magnums states the quantities produced were:
87- prefix 4 5/8" 5 guns
87- prefix 6 1/2" 346 guns
48- prefix 4 5/8" 301 guns
48- prefix 6 1/2" 60 guns

My two 4 5/8" guns are 48- prefix and my 6 1/2" gun is 87- prefix.

KO, thanks for the information.
Very helpful in making my decision.

I'm going back to pick up both of them.
