Its easier to pop out with my finger nail. I had to make a split flat screwdriver to put an extra power basepin latch spring in. Im pretty ghetto like that, i mjust pumped i didnt scratch, strip or shear off anything and it function tests perfect!! Thanks again for helping guide me along everybody.

Just FYI, the "Nail head" cyl pin is not a Birdshead feature, it comes on most 3 3/4" barrels and it's the better version.

There's one other Ruger version that comes on the short barrel Montado, but it's a mid frame size:
