I bought a new stainless 6 1/2" 357 Blackhawk a few weeks ago, mainly to shoot reloads I didn't want to run in my S&W's. I had assumed it would need better grips and I'd have to deal with a so-so trigger. Well, the trigger is plenty good enough and the stock grips are all I need. This gun absolutely sops up recoil from the hottest loads. Accuracy is great with rested groups at 25 yards inside of 2 1/2" with some at 1 1/4" which is the limit of my vision. The factory sights are good.
This gun arrived in perfect condition. After almost 300 mostly full magnum loads, including cast bullets, it had no tendency to lead at all. I'm so impressed with this gun that I have a new 45 Colt Bisley 7 1/2" Blackhawk coming in today.
