Ruger service

I have a Ruger convertible in 45 LC and 45 ACP. The 45 ACP has one
Chamber that is .020 Too short. I have sent two emails with no response. All l can get on their service line is a busy signal. Has anyone very actually gotten contact or service from Ruger? I have seventeen Ruger's and I always assumed I could get service if I needed it. If Ruger will not respond I am thru with Ruger.

I've never e-mailed them for service. I always call and I've always received excellent service. Good luck.

Welcome to the forum!

Is this the ph # you used?: (603) 865-2442? If so just persevere. They'll send you a free shipping label and you have the gun back in 10 days or less.

But that's such a simple problem, if you have a gunsmith in your area with a chamber reamer, that'll take 5 minutes to fix.

I talked to them today, actually. A tidbit that might help is that she said their technicians leave at 3:30 PM Eastern, so Customer Service has their backup for technical questions up to that hour. I am going to call back tomorrow for a more definitive answer to my question.

I've always gotten superb service from Ruger when I call. I've never tried emailing them. The one time one of my firearms needed service, they turned it around in 8 days, including shipping both ways (which they paid for).

I've used the on-line message system several times. I think I have always gotten a reply the next business day. Service has always been excellent.
