.41 mag Bisley

I'm new here looking to get a value on my Ruger .41 mag Bisley. Over all it is great shape. I do not shoot it anymore . Any advice would be appreciated and when I figure out how to load pictures I'll post some.

Welcome to the forum from NC. I'm sure some of the members can give you an idea of its value, but a look on Gunbroker will give you an idea of what others are asking for theirs.

Better yet, search completed auctions to see what people paid (and also what they wouldn't bid on)

Here is what BB of Gun Values says but the real test is what the market will bear:

I put almost zero weight on the Blue Book. What it says and what real world prices being paid can vary a LOT.

On some items, I wish I could pay what the Blue Book says they are worth.
On other items, I wish I could sell what the Blue Book says they are worth.
I guess there are some regional differences, but they are crazy with their pricing.

Yep, that's why I qualified with "what the market will bear"

Depends on how badly one wants to sell it quickly. Desperate sellers drive the market down & panic buyers drive the market up

The proof is in the pudding as they say. Is it stainless or blued what barrel length, condition. Around here 350 to 550 depending on the particulars.

Pics would be good too. I am sure if you wanted to post it on the classifieds here there would be interest.

I would look on gun broker and arms list. I would take 80% of the buy not amounts as a start.
