Power Hammer Compatability

I just did the Bisley trigger/hammer and spring job on my New Vaquero, I LOVE the action, but I find the hammer a bit "light" visually on the end of such a big gun. Down the road, will their Super Blackhawk/Montado hammer work with that Bisley trigger?

Welcome to the forum.

In a word, yes.

If you mean the Power Custom Montado, ect., hammers with 1/2 cock notch, any trigger will need the trigger sear sharpened to fit the 1/2 cock notch, or use the Power Custom trigger. Unless you don't want to use the 1/2 cock notch, then just use the Ruger triggers as they are.

The Bisley trigger already works with any Ruger hammer, including the single six hammers. In fact all Ruger SA triggers (excluding the Bearcat) are the same and interchange with all model hammers.

The only difference is fitting the Bisley trigger to the trigger slot in non-Bisley grip frames by lengthening the slot, as you already know.

I put a Bisely trigger in my Super Blackhawk with no other changes.

Super Single Six:

Why do my images end up as bitty thumbnails and yours do not, is it because I am posting them from my computer and you are linking them from another host?
