My new .41Mag Bisley SBH Hunter

Along with its 5.5" little brother.

Gunshop owner let me put a cylinder through it out behind the shop when I picked it up & it is most definitely a keeper.

I've got a pretty smokin' load with 215gr Keiths for the 5.5"er that oughtta flat scream outta the Hunter. Also just got in 500pcs of Starline brass & a box of 240gr Keiths that I can not wait to start playing with.

Gonna work on stretching my handgun game out to 100yds & hopefully take a whitetail with the beauty this fall.

Very nice pair of shootin' arns.

I've got the same pair in 44 Mag. I think the 7.5" Bisley Hunter is my favorite revolver to shoot - accurate and easy shooting.

Thanks, fellas. Much appreciated.

I'd always been a huge .357 fan, but found when I stepped up to a .44 I couldn't stand 'em. Too much "sturm und drang" & painful to shoot. My dad's friend let me shoot his 6.5" .41 BH & I was hooked.

Having a s/s fetish, I jumped on the AccuSport Bisley the instant I saw one & knew I'd found my "Goldilocks" chambering & platform. Then I learned of the .41 SBH Hunters & when I found out Ruger did a small run of 'em as Bisley's every now & again, the hook was set. HAD to have one. Took me a few years to get the timing & money right, but I was finally able to bring one of my "grail" guns home.

Dad45- dive on in. The .41 is a helluva round.

Nice brace of SABH, I like that 5.5 , have one in 45 Colt. the 41 should be a deer slayer as well. Nice.

Nice looking pistols. Never owned a .41 but have thought about getting one for some time.

Either one of those beauties will do the job on whitetails for you if you do your part. Enjoy.

Nice set of pistols. No fleas on the .41, I'd have one or two except I'm too invested in .44's.

Thanks, fellas.

Sure wish Ruger would offer the .41 Blackhawks in stainless on at least a "Distributor Exclusive" basis. Dunno about the rest of y'all, but I'd buy one of every barrel length & model, if they would but make the durn things.

+1

I would really like one with a 5 1/2" barrel! Perhaps a Flattop model?
