310 Weaver on .357 Blackhawk (II)
I originally posted this in the optics section, but I thought it might get more response in the single action section.
So here goes...
I recently posted the thread "Weaver (no drill) or Weigand (drill & tap) scope mount", and I have a specific question about the 310 Weaver mount.
I have read that when mounted to the 357 Blackhawk, the forward band fit loose around the barrel.
Is this true?
Is it an issue?
Is it something that can be shimmed, or needs to be shimmed?
I'd appreciate hearing your experiences.
