My 1965 Bearcat. Unconverted

I guy on Facebook posted a 1965 Bearcat yesterday and 20 minuets later we had made a deal to meat today.

I bought the Revolver and for a 51 year old Revolver it is in great shape. It has one little scratch on it and that is it.

Anyway I am not sure if these are factory original grips but I believe so. Very happy with the deal.

Nice Bearcat! I like the brass trigger guard.

Nice! I wouldn't mind stumbling across one, it would most likely come home with me.

Great gun. I wish I had not sold as part of helping a widow sell her husband's firearms. She had an NIB ruger super bearcat. Steel frame I could have purchased it for 200 dollars 12 years ago but someone else wanted it and they offered 400 so I did the right thing.

Those grips look just like the ones on the 1966 model I just picked up, only yours are in much better shape.

Anodized aluminum actually. Brass would be really cool though, although a bit heavier.

Correct, Anodized Aluminum. But even looking at them close they really do look just like brass.
Love how small and light this little revolver is. It just fits my hand perfect.
