My wife was makin' cookies while I was cleanin' the guns an' they fell in the mixin' bowl. This's what I got out of it.

OK, I was just foolin' around with 'em last night.

I kinda like it. The contrasts look good and the 357 BH has a nice, heavy, balanced, recoil-absorbing feel to it with the SS on it vs. the alum and now the Six has a nice, light, whip-around feeling to it. The fat, smooth ebony Hogues and nice for a little 357 recoil too.

My 44MAG Vaquero...

Hi,

I picked up my companion to my Ruger Deerfield today. I got it off Davidson's Gun Genie and apparently, it was their last one...no longer on the menu. I was blown away to see the giant WARNING rollmark is on the barrel underside on this one. I have only seen that on the New Vaqueros. I am very happy they listened...finally, to all the gripes about how much a detractor it was to the overall beauty of these firearms. Another thing of note, the fired casing is dated May 2010...I thought these stopped production long ago....2005 or so. Is this a Davidson's "Exclusive"? Being more of a collector, I'm not sure I will fire this thing but, I'm equally unsure I will be able to resist the anticipation of that big POW! We'll see.

Ed

Maynard, you've got three nice Bearcats, I think you can afford to give one up! Please?

Thanks, I am very fortunate.

My parents left my sister and I some very nice firearms.

I am interested in what the value is for the two newer models but this probably isn't the thread for that.

Thanks again for the kind words.

50th Anniversary Collection

Clockwise from top left:

- 1999 50th Anniversary of the Mark II (.22 LR)
- 2005 50th Anniversary of the Blackhawk (.357 Magnum)
- 2006 50th Anniversary of the .44 Magnum
- 2003 50th Anniversary of the Single Six (.22 LR/.22 WMR)

(I know - the Mark II is not a single, but this is the only pic I have of the other three together.)

Leather by El Paso Saddlery

Bisley Vaquero .45Colt

NM Blackhawk convertible .45Colt/.45acp

I seem to have lost my pictures of the Single Six and the presentation case I built for it, but it's in here with one Colt

I gave it to my oldest son on his 10th birthday so I guess it's technically not mine
