Nice! Has the .357 Maximum been re-blued? Doesn't look like it has been shot much if at all .

I'm not sure if "rare" is the right word - I've heard as many as 10,000 - 11,000 were sold. Perhaps "uncommon"? Ruger may have destroyed 5,000 - 6,000 frames in the factory when they decided to pull the plug on the Maximum. That's a shame.....
This one has been shot but not any Maximums. No flame cutting in the top strap whatsoever. The bluing is original. I'm a believer in Renaissance Wax - gave it a fresh coat prior to photos.

Well I am a horrible picture taker, but here they are:
I have a .22/.22Mag Single Six, .357/9mm BH, .44 Spl Flat Top, .44 Mag SBH, .45 Colt Bisley, and a SS .45 Colt/ACP Bisley.
My favorite is the blued Bisley. I carried that one for quite some time in Texas. It has taken a few deer, lots of hogs, and many other varmints. It likes to ride in a Three Person's rigs tooled out and stitched up by El Paso Saddlery.
