Here's some more. I used this photo for the cover page on the SA Gun Guide. Top, SBH 44 Mag; 2nd OM Single-Six 22 Conv; 3rd Vaquero 45 Conv; 4th 357/9 Conv; bottom OM Bearcat 22 LR.

Here's my all time favorite shooter. I bought this Liberty 357 BH new in '76 and have replaced the grip frame with a steel SBH GF and installed a SBH hammer.

A workin' gun! I have a .357 BH just like that (not the liberty one) that I carried many times hiking, fishing, and camping during my teens and 20s.... Yes, it was a favorite for me too. Now I favor the .45 Colt Vaquero and BH as my outdoors carry weapons, but back then (late 70's and 80's) it was the .357.....

I only have this one, but am angling for it's little brother this year.
It's the only picture of it that I ever post, but here it goes again.

.357 Love:

I think I'm leaning towards a 44 special. May give Ruger a call. Heard that the centenial flat top's had their cylinder throats reamed to correct size and had good trigger pull. Possibly put a little more TLC into this model? Then again could always shoot 44 special in the 44 mag. Hmmm.
