I've been looking for a 6.5" Blackhawk .357/9mm Convertible for a while. Nothing special, just a shooter. I just found a 200th Year 1976 NIB for a decent price - not an inflated, collectible price. It's an internet buy, so I probably won't have it for a week or so. All my other Ruger single actions are New Models made before 1980.
6.5" Super Single Six .22 LR
6.5" Super Single Six .32 H&R Mag
6.5" Blackhawk .41 Mag
7.5" Blackhawk .45 Colt/.45 ACP
7.5" Super Blackhawk .44 Mag
I had a 6.5" .357 that was a great shooter and let my nephew talk me out of it because he wanted one so bad. Next thing I knew, he had traded it for something else. This one should fill the gap in the line up.

I had a .357/9mm convertible and like you fooled around and traded it off. I miss it so I do intend on looking for another one some day down the road.

You did need one in .357 to fill in the caliber series. It's hard not to have one in .357, IMO.

Nice collection you got there Rman. I never see the .32H&R model around here. I did see a Heritage in that caliber, but not a Ruger. Is it good for anything other then plinking? Just wondering. Thanks.

It's an accurate little rascal with Hornady 85 Gr JHPs.

rman, to the best of all data I have available, the .32 H&R Single-Sixes were introduced in 1984.
Nice find on that .357/9mm. |

Nice find on that .357/9mm. | You know - that's what happens when you get old. You forget stuff. It's possible that most of mine are 1980's New Models. I guess I could find out from the serial numbers. Anyway, thnx for the info.
