Lipsey's 44 special problem??

I just FINALLY got mine! Seems nice, and can't wait to shoot it, BUT....while the bore is smooth with sharp lands and grooves, it seems wavy at certain angles. Chatter marks?
Is this going to be a problem?

I would really hate to send it back as I have waited for so long for one.

Has anyone seen anything like this before?
