Hmm 1911, ar15, and probably a Remington 870. Not terribly original I know but hey its my list. Of course extra calibers for each doesn't hurt either.

Guess it would be my 10-22, an old TC 83 with the 30-06, 22-250 and 12 ga. barrels and one of my 9mm High Powers. That should cover most of the bases.

From the firearms I own:

1. Glock 19 Gen4
2. IWI Tavor
3. Ruger 10/22 carbine. Plain-Jane wood stock.

If I owned the following firearms, the list would be harder:

FN SCAR 17
S&W 629 6.5" 44 Mag

My GP100 3" fixed or possibly my .44 Alaskan - close call between these two for my handgun. My current geography though leans me towards my .44.

My Mossberg 500 (I have both a security barrel and a standard length field barrel)

And the third is a much tougher decision.

It would be a rifle but I'm not sure which one. I hesitate to jump too quickly to .22. Would have to think about this one a bit more.

Depends on what the intended purpose of those 3 guns are. If it is just for your personal enjoyment, people will gravitate to their favorites...........Now if the choice was needed that may sustain you, meaning you actually needed the guns.......hard to argue with the choices of a rifle, a pistol and a shotgun from a practicality standpoint.

it would have to be some pretty dire times to make me consider only three, so I guess it would be

20 ga shotgun

Sig 556swat (haven't done anything to my new AR 556 yet, so who knows)

Keltec PLR 16

Reasoning is that there would probably not be any need for concealed weapons, and pistols/revolvers would not be as good for defense as a couple of nice easily usable 5.56 weapons for getting food and keeping away bad guys.

I'd hate to leave some of them, but just following the rules.

A Stoeger 12 gauge coach gun

A Marlin .30/.30 lever gun
