If I could only carry three of my guns out of my apartment these are the ones I would choose.

SRH Alaskan .44 Mag
Lever Action .44 mag (I would swap my Rossi for a Marlin 1894)
Remington 870 with 18" and 28" swappable barrels

I would go a different route.

I think everyone would grab all the .22LR & 9mm(as in the last crisis)
I would take:
1.1911 Para .45acp
2. Savage .17hmr
3. Mossberg 500 with multiple barrels(it came with an 18.5" with pistol grip & a 28" modified choke)

There was 12 gauge, .45acp & .17HMR available all through this last crisis!

Of the three in my present arsenal, Beretta M9, Winchester 67A single shot, old Sears model 200 12 gauge, not that I like having to choose between any of my guns.

Hmmm... this is really tough one (understatement). Three guns, right? See, here's my problem: if it's for the duration, it's really hard to limit it to three and still cover the major uses you might encounter for firearms. I'm gonna make two lists, first with four guns, and then I will force it down to three.

Four Guns:

1. Ruger 10/22. Need covered is a fun, inexpensive, reliable carbine that can be used for inexpensive plinking, ridding the yard of pests, and even rabbit/squirrel hunting.

2. Glock 19. Needs covered are home defense, self defense and even concealed carry. Versatile, reliable, lethal, but also fun and even somewhat expensive to shoot.

3. Marlin 336 30-30 lever gun. Needs covered are a versatile, reliable, affordable, accurate rifle that is suitable for hunting any game likely to be encountered in North America, save for brown bears. It shoots a readily available, fairly affordable caliber. Can be used effectively for home and self defense.

4. 12 gauge shot gun. (Remington 870 or Mossberg 590). Needs filled are home defense, and hunting where rifles are inappropriate or not allowed. Versatile, cheap and dependable.

Now, how to go down to three guns? Here's where it gets tough, because if you want to have a handgun, a rifle and a shotgun, you really have to make some tough choices. If you choose the 10/22 as your one rifle, then what do you do if you want/need to deer hunting at longer ranges than shotguns are good for? If you dump the 10/22 in favor of a centerfire rifle, then what do you have that's affordable to do lots of shooting with? Dump the handgun and there goes your concealed carry option.

I'm tempted to say ditch the shotgun. Yes, I know, how blasphemous. Everyone needs a shotgun, even Joe Biden.

Nope, gotta keep the 12 gauge. So, here's what I would do. Similar to Jerry's list, but a little different.

1. Revolver, 357 mag./38 special.

2. Marlin 1894 lever gun 357 mag./38 special.

3. Remington 870.

Here I've reluctantly parted with the 22, but I have a handgun that is versatile, concealable, lethal with 357's, but fun to shoot with 38 special, as well as a long gun that shoots the same calibers. It can be used for hunting with 357 magnums, but would also be fun and somewhat affordable to shoot with 38 specials. This list still keeps the shotgunand all the utility and versatility that goes along with it.

Tough. But manageable.

I'd normally say GSR but because of caliber commonality I will say the below

1. Ruger Super Blackhawk .44 mag
2. TIE. Marlin or Rossi model 92/94 lever action clones, also .44 mag
3. ANY pump action shotgun. Yes, any. In either 12 or 20.

KLR1968 is on a distinguished road
Ruger Blackhawk - 45 Colt
Remington 700 - 30-06 Springfield
Remington 870 - 12 Gauge

Truth be known, this would cover anything I need a firearm for.

Good bolt action rifle in .30-06 for all my big game hunting
12 gauge pump or semi-auto with slug barrel for bird hunting and home defense
Good 22lr rifle, preferably a bolt action like the 30.06 for small game hunting and practice

Thankfully I don't have to limit myself to three guns.

So...I have a GP100 4" and a 10/22 Carbine...

Any recommendations to flush out my list? What's your go-to shotgun (of any gauge?)

Also, what's on your "Last three guns you'll ever own" list???
My main shotgun is a Winchester 1300 Defender that I bought new in the mid '80s. It has the 5 rd mag tube, and I also have a 28" Winchoke barrel for it.

I think I would have to push it to four: Jerry's list (my .357 is a GP-100), plus a centerfire bolt action rifle (7mm08 for me).
