1.) Ruger M77 .270

2.) Remington 798 or Winchester M70 in .375 H&H

3.) Ithaca M37 12 GA

I have # 1 and # 3, almost bought #2 but decided I was too young for it to be useful.

S&W Model M60 J-Frame Revolver .357 Magnum 3"

AIA M10A2 rifle, 7.62x39 caliber

Ruger SR22 Threaded Barrel

Love the Enfield action and the X39 round. Stainless Steel 3 inch is the perfect blend of accuracy, concelabilitey, and power. The SR22 is, well, just the perfect 22 pistol IMHO.

Remington 870 Wingmaster 12ga. 19" Rifled cantilever and 24" barrels

SR556 with a chiappa 22LR conversion upper for the use of high powered and 22LR for hunting/defense etc if the end of the world comes, multi calibers on the same platform means versatility...Only reason I didn't take the mini 14 was so I could add an extra caliber.

one of my 1911's for my only pistol. I would like it to be 45acp, but would "settle" for a 9mm version. Probably the springfield. then I would find a way to make one of the kimber 22 conversions work (versatility)

mmnnnnnnn, just 3? well then it would be these:

gp100 6" heavy barrel .357 mag

winchester 94ae .357 mag with 24" barrel / with a good 4x by 16x by 40mm scope

winchester model 1200 12 ga. chambered for 2 3/4 or 3 " and interchangable barrels for sd or hunting

these will do cause i own all of them, but sad shame i cant pick my SIX too.

Nice little AK.

Full size 1911.

Ruger 10/22. Or some .22 variant.

Lets assume that you have to carry these guns for the rest of your existence if you are only limited to 3.

Glock 21
S&W mp22
Ruger 10/22

While amusing, I don't take these kinds of thread as seriously as I used to. I really did waste way too much time putting thought into them. Still they are a good exercise into what we use and why. With that said...

3" SP101 (but if you ask next week it might be my 4" GP100 again), really any 3-5" revolver in .357 magnum...useful for target, home and personal defense, hunting up to whitetail size thin skinned game at closer range.

Ruger 10/22 (this is really for my wife, but it gets shot a lot by many people)

My current shotgun is a Mossberg 835, it covers my hunting and home defense needs but I am looking at getting back to traditional bow.

----
Mr Miculek is right, those three firearms cover a lot of ground. I have others, including AR's and 1911's, but these are the ones that get shot the most.

If i had to pick from my current collection, it would be my sr1911, my mossberg 500, and my sr556. I guess.
