Was in my LGS this afternoon and they had 3 Red Labels. A 12 ga. and a 28 ga. that were new and an engraved 28 ga. that was used but looked like new. The new guns were marked down to $1,364. The 12 ga. had especially nice wood. The used gun was labeled $1799 but the salesman said they could do "a lot better". None had English stocks, which is a good thing - I would love to get my hands on a 28 ga. with an English stock. At least I used that thought to keep my buying impulses in check. Plus I already own a 12 ga Red Label. Still, at that price..........

Hey, maybe my wife would go along with picking up a couple of Red Labels if I told her they were an investment! Seriously, I think you're right. They're great guns (I have 1, my son has 1, my dad has 1 - we love 'em) and the gun auction sites regularly have NIB leftover stock asking $1500+. I thought $1364 was a good deal.

OK - now there is just the two 28 ga Red Labels left...... And the price on the new one is $1346. I cannot tell where the 12 ga went. It's a BIG secret (at least around my house anyway....)
