I bought this guy earlier this week and had a chance to take it to the skeet range this morning. It's a CZ Redhead Deluxe (Yes it is a Huglu gun).
A friend had one in 20ga and let me try it out for a round of skeet - very impressive.
When "fitting" it, I found it really fits my shoulder and arms perfectly. Mine's the same as the one I tried, 20ga with 26" barrels. It was so friggen humid today we only shot 2 rounds of skeet, but I plan on taking it out everytime when the weather is a bit cooler..lol
It is quite stiff, although some grease helped a bit. My FFL's gun has a ton more rounds through it and has loosened up a bit.
Comes with 5 chokes which is pretty cool. I was nervous about buying a Turkish shotgun as I've had Brownings, Winchesters, Berettas, and a Remington, but it's winning me over. Very nice over under for a reasonable price for those looking at O/Us.
I should mention, another CZ O/U owner I know had an issue with his and the folks at CZ had it fixed and returned to him very quickly. The following week the stock on his BT99 cracked..lol
Here it is, I'm very pleased with it. I think the woodwork on this one is okay, but some I've seen are downright beautiful.

I like it, don't get me wrong, but I am a bit jealous as the wood on his is crazy.
Just over $800 w/ tax and shipping.
Fit and finish are very good, agreed. It is very snug, especially after I fired the first two rounds, the action was very hard to break open at first, but I knew it would need some time to break in a bit.

Hey actionexpress, my second oldest son bought a CZ Mallard in 12 gauge. It shoots well, but kicks a bit harder than my Browning Gold Hunter. Nonetheless, I like shooting it.
One thing that I wonder about your Redhead Deluxe, which is the higher end model, is how well are the barrels regulated? My son's Mallard is a bit off on the alignment. We found that when we patterned it with several different types of ammo, it patterned the same. When he first got it, I strongly urged him to send it back. But he didn't want to. In the end, he hits what he is swinging on unless it is his fault. But I personally would like them a bit better aligned.
Oh, I should be specific, one of his barrels shoots a bit to the left of the point of aim. Of course, depending on the distance, they may pattern the same height or not. But being slightly off to the left is what one can expect with a low-end shotgun.
He is happy with it, especially for the price. But how is your Redhead Deluxe? Have you patterned it to see?

I bought a Huglu Canvasback just over a yr. ago, at the time I paid 499.00 now there going for 750.00! A quality O/U that compares Winchester & Browning and with many of the more expensive O/U's I've owned. No issues with POA & POI something that is usually a problem with low cost O/U's. A gun that's as comfortable on the skeet, trap or sporting clays field as it is hunting. That's why I bought it, when I used my 525 Browning on hunts I was always worried it would get scratched or worse when hunting ruining the guns value! My friend has a Canvasback with over 20,000 rounds through it and its never had a problem, still locks up tight! Just between us & the fencepost I know many browning O/U's that can't say the same thing. Pretty awesome for a 500.00 O/U.

I does shoot a bit uphill, but as long as I remember to float the bird a tad, no problems (for trap that is).
I thought the Wingshooter was the high end model.. I saw one on sale in 20ga at a shop for $799. It was just gorgeous and the engraving was very well done.

By what you say, I take it that both barrels were hitting in the same place at your set distance, though a bit high. Not bad. Quote:

" The Redhead is CZ-USA's flagship over & under shotgun."
They seem to be pretty good guns for the price. Often inexpensive double barrels aren't worth the money. But from our experience with my son's gun and yours (and quite a few reviews we found online before he bought his), the CZs seem to do OK.

| I had someone with more experience pattern it, and he called it "50/50."
Both barrels are right on. In my opinion, you can't go wrong with a CZ. They are a bit crude at first, but mine's well broken in now.
I sometimes trade guns for a round with a friend who uses a Browning 625 feather 20ga, and I always wonder in my mind..What does this $2200 gun do that my $700 doesn't? lol

I think a lot of shops are hesitant to carry them. The cheapest shotgun at my local shop was a $1700 Citori, but after the owner tried my CZ, he ordered a few and they sold very quickly.
I'm looking for one in 12ga now..lol
