I assembled this AR myself. It's a budget build that cost $650. 14.5" Barrel. 1:9 twist.

Target shot at a 100yd rifle tube. Forend on a shoddy range mandated rest & on a wobbly range bench. The ammo was 55gr TulAmmo Hollow Point. Iron sights.

Quick Fire Target

^ Slow fire. A bit twitchy on the trigger.

^Slow fire. I was trying this time.

Keep in mind this is a budget AR, assembled from parts that others will disparage. Targets were shot using ammo most others will disparage.

I own a S&W M&P 15-Sport that has a 1:8 5R Melonite treated Thompson Center 16" barrel. I don't have any target pictures, but shooting good groups with it is easy-peasy.

That is some pretty good shooting! Especially when you consider conditions and open sight. I am capable of some pretty tight groups with other rifles but require a scope for any kind of decent group. My eyes are apparently much older than I am... Also tend to get the flyer, especially when I am doing good, I lose that momentary discipline/concentration. Hopefully will be headed out to the river this afternoon to finally get the scope sighted in.

Here's my AR-15 at 100 yards after sighting in my EOTech MPO II. The fliers were all from before/during the sighting in process.

It was the m16-a2 service rifle so I believe it was 20"

If I may, I'd like to jump in here and ask those bullseye target shooters, is your AR using a stock factory trigger, or customized?

My match rifle (older Bushmaster a4 A4 rifle) has had a few accuracy modifications:
White Oak match barrel 1:6.5 twist, Wylde chamber
FSB attached with locktite green sleeve and bearing retainer (Taper pins distort and stress the barrel)
Fulton Armory NM free float tube
RRA match trigger
Stop cut out of rear sight elevation post for added elevation adjustment
Front sight filed down to 0.050" width
0.050" rear target aperture

FWIW, the rifle shot <moa in stock form, but I wanted to get rid of POA shift from sling tension and add a barrel that allowed for use of heavier bullets for the best advantage at 600 yards.

Mine is a stock trigger. My lower is a Spike's Tactical. The upper is a DTI and I've upgraded the BCG to a Nickel Boron plated Spike's Tactical model.

I consider my AR to have an excellent trigger.

Spider (Bullet) Lower w/ Standard Kit - No Stock [STLC200-SBT] - $265.95 : Spikes Tactical

This is all they say about the trigger:
