I have a Mini-14 that I'm trying to get some info on. I bought it new, it has a 186 serial number that according to Ruger was made in Nov. 1997. It is a green laminated stock, stainless, with a factory flash suppressor. I saw it in a large gun shop during the assault weapons ban sometimes after its manufacture. I asked about the flash supressor as no other Mini-14 I saw for sale during this era had one. The shop owner said Ruger made 1000 of them and the large dealers got two each.

I'm assuming its a LE model of some type and rare according to what I was told. Can anyone tell me anything about it and its value? It's in new condition and has been fired less than 50 rounds. Many thanks in advance.

Does it have a bayonet lug? Do you have a pic?

Also, you would know if it was an "LE" model as it would be marked on the receiver.

It does not have a bayonette mount, nor does it say LE anywhere. Ideas anyone?
