Awards Showcase

Fun but heck of a trigger reach from the look of it.

Ah, I see now. On the Mini-14 and 30, the trigger guard goes right up against the plastic flange. I wasn't paying attention to the heading. Just saw it and thought it looked different then mine. Still looks good for a 10/22

i can reach the trigger. i can try to gut it more inside towards the stock area to see if i can get the trigger closer to the pistol grip

Why?

There are so many fantastic options out there for a 10/22 already....

Blackhawk Axiom
Archangel Marauder & Nomad
ATI Strikeforce & Fiberforce
Boyd's - several models
Hogue
Tapco
Revolution- 5 models
Fajen Legacy, plus some sporter and thumbhole models
Volquartsen
AGP (if side folders are your thing)
Butler Creek
Clark Custom
J Bunting Machine

My point? Why adapt a stock that won't really fit right, balance right, etc. when you have so many to choose from, ranging from traditional woood sporters, to high tech bullpups and space age sillouette stocks? You spent $200 modifying a great stock to arrive at an expensive compromise.

because its easy to do

a lot of those stocks i dont like. the only one i got was that Archangel
Maruader/Nomad G36 stock.

honestly, im not really into the whole wood sporty look. i just like modern futuristic black rifles.

i have close to 30 stocks ive modified just like this and im willing to compromise just to make a .22 version

All these stocks are fitted for my 10/22, Marlin 795 and XT-22

yea these builds are just fun. its nothing serious.

these .22 builds are just all looks and no performance. nothing more. when im done with these, ill have about 30+ .22LR' one for each stock with no performance mod.

if i were to do a serious performance build, then id only focus on 1 gun.
