Sound Suppressing Mini 14

Good Morning,

I am looking to legally modify my mini 14
with a sound suppression can, barrel, or
anything else out there that I have yet to
learn about. The primarily reason is so I
can shoot in the desert with out damaging
my ears. If any one has experience or knows
about a product worth mentioning I would be interested.

Thank you,

Jim

After you pay for the supressor, pay the $200 tax to the BATF, get fingerprinted and the registered you could have bought enough ear plugs to last 10 lifetimes. I have no clue what the requirements are in Texas but there are plently of options to protect your hearing and have more money left for ammo.

Yes you could buy some fancy "in ear" ear protection and still be able to get another gun and ammo and be able to do this months before the paperwork comes back from the state...I would refer you to the DPS website for all the details...

It would be nice to have a choice about whether I want to go thru the paperwork for a suppressor. In NJ we cannot own a suppressor a full auto an sbr or sbs or an aow.

While it may be cheaper, a bunch of earplugs are not nearly as cool as a suppressed Mini 14!

Sorry I have nothing more helpful than encouragement
