It's a little consideration for the shooter next to you, it puts some of the noise downrange. I also added an H2 carbine buffer, it tamed the recoil a little bit.

*grin* I have to admit that morale patches are more interesting these days than I remember them being. I have an order with mil spec monkey for some good ones now, actually.

Went with the burris 1x4 XTR 30mm on my 6.8, came with the mount and a dot sight on top of the rings I haven't bothered with.
See they sell mounts for it that will fit several different hand guns I may put that on.
So far the 3" squares are loosing bad.

I record Guns and Gear which is on Versus on Friday and repeats on Sunday. This weekend there is a section on the Ruger 556. Just an FYI if you want to see it.

I bought one. WOW. only change is a full nos Colt stock, buffer, tube, and spring. The sound of the spring is louder than the action working.
I vote yes.

In this video the user is talking about how he experienced carrier tilt and sent it back to Ruger to be fixed. Fast forward to 5:56 and see the new BC Ruger is shipping out.
The video was posted a little over 4 months ago. Don't know how long Ruger has been upgrading these BC's on the sly but mine is of the older squared off variety.
