I've seen some nice ones at -- thecountryshed.com -- I bought my mini scout mount
from them and it was a smooth transaction. Hope this helps.

I am looking for a Muzzle brake for my newer version Mini-30 (Post 2005 model). Anyone know where I might find one?

I threaded my barrel 1/2'' X 28 TPI on my 2008 model 580 series heavy barrel so any common flash hider would work. Got the die, handle and centering guide from Brownell's. About $50.00. I shortened the barrel to 16'' at the same time and fabricated a barrel schroud. I like a red dot sight so I left the iron sights off. Works for ME!!!!

Check Midwayusa.com they have muzzlebrakes/flashhiders and they are quite reasonable.

mo-rod is also coming out with a combo sight/muzzle break. Will fit the 580 and 581 series. will be in production shortly. I have one on order and am waiting.
