Question SR-556 Trigger upgrade

Has anyone upgraded the trigger of the SR-556? If so what brand did you go with and did the hammer rub on the bolt keeping it from closing when released easily? Because I bought a DPMS lower and was going to use it on there so i could keep the Ruger lower in good shape. And the stock DPMS hammer sticks up higher and doesn't let the bolt close unless it is moving fast it catchs. So I am wondering if I get a Timney or Chip McCormick trigger if I will still have that problem?

I Installed a JP fire control 4.5 trigger and their speed hammer. Have had it in for about 2 years and have had no issues.

Thanks for the response. I will take a look at them. Where did you buy it from, and do they have a website? Also, what kind of price tag? Thanks Gary

Bought mine from Brownells www.brownells.com part number 452-000-049. The price was 182.00. Kit came with instructional video, trigger, different springs, speed hammer, and oversize pins. If you plan on using your stock hammer and pins the price is 119.00. JP's website has a lot more info including install videos. http://www.jprifles.com/1.4.8.1_fc.php
