SR-762 mag pouches

Hi all,

Can anyone recommend from experience belt pouches or vest options that fit 20 and/or 25 round PMags for my SR-762? I have a "Bail-out bag" from 5.11 that is really a bandolier with 5 external pouches and a large open interior section that is OUTSTANDING for use with these mags but I'm looking into something wearable. (Go scope out that bag at 5.11!! It's great) Everyone offers Molle and ALICE gear and belt pouches suited for the AK and AR-15 platforms, but I'm having trouble finding reliable info on such for 7.62x51 PMags. This is wanted not only for target mag carry but also for potential SHTF scenarios, where the "bail-out bag" would carry spare ammo and I could have mags to feed the SR-762 on me. Thanks!!

These were all found while doing a GOOGLE search: "magazine pouch 308."

Right yes but have you personally USED any of those? I am interested in actual experience with the pouches.

Read the products' descriptions and reviews from the customers... That seems like all the information you need...

Just trying to help. You asked for products and reviews, and I gave you links.

I asked for personal experiences from forum members that have actually used the pouches.

And, evidently, there are none. So I gave you product links that also have customer reviews. Why does the "experience" have to be from a forum member?

I just prefer to get advice from forum members that I trust and can ask questions to, whereas reviews often don't cover everything. I got turned onto the 5.11 bag I mentioned by just such a question elsewhere and a member assured me that 7.62 mags fit great, whereas the reviews where I got it only talked about .223 mags.

In my experience, pouches will accommodate the metal factory magazines but PMags generally don't fit due to their dimensional differences. They are thicker. You might look at comblock pouches to fit the bulkier PMags. Sorry, at this time I can't point you directly to your solution.
