Talking Ruger AR556 price on CDNN

Hey there guys I was browsing on a ad from my e-mail CDNN they seem to have some good prices on AR-15's there a S&W AR-15 M&P Sport with a 3-9 scope $549.99 a used S&P AR-15 M&P Sport no scope excellent Cond. $549.00. Then I found a Ruger AR556 Medium carbine that really caught my eye $499.99. Now is the price on the Ruger AR556 a good buy?? All of the AR-15's listed looked like they all come with one 30 round Mag Pull magazine. They also have Bushmaster and several other's. My main interest was the S&W AR-15 M&P Sport with a scope @$549 or the Ruger AR556 Medium carbine @$499. Thoughts & comments welcome thanks!!!

Good prices on the Ruger and S&W. I lean toward the Sport because it has the nitrided barrel. The scope is probably an Aim Sports scope- don't excpect much (could be wrong- I haven't seen the ad).

Either rifle is a solid entry into ARs. Look at the specs on each and decide which has what you want.

Manufacturers of ARs produced heavily in anticipation of a H. Clinton win in November. She fell to Trump and the result is a saturated AR market which caused prices to collapse. If you are in the market for an AR, it is a buyers market so enjoy the great prices. Although I have a good AR, I have thought of adding another since the prices are so good.

A couple of places had the ruger for $479 recently. If you are not in a hurry, you might watch the prices for a couple of months.

good price. In LGS in northern nj 680 or so is a good price. But in NJ the gun has to have a state specific version. The stock has to be pinned in place and have either no muzzle break or have one pinned in place. The stock has to have a max of 15 rounds.

Nothing personal, but I have never figured out why anyone would live in NJ.

I have a Sport and am pleased with it.
It is accurate and reliable.
I have changed and added a few things.
This is not in regard to performance or accuracy.
Just to jazz it up, not to change anything with respect to the barrel or fire control group.
The reports I have heard on the Ruger are mostly good.
Get an AR while the prices are at record low.
Both brands have great lifetime customer support.
Shoot and enjoy whatever you decide on.

Yes it was until I saw the 29.99 shipping.

I can get an ATI Omni for 429 at the LGS so I may just do that.

Slickguns and wiki both kind of summarize who has what price and shipping.
