I just bought a radical firearms upper

I bought a 300 blackout upper made by Radical firearms. Does anyone else own one. It cost me $219 bought it from Brownells on sale. It's made in Texas. I have seen some on Midway USA for around $400+ just wondered what the difference was.

I have 2 radical firearms uppers in 5.56
had them for over a year. never had a problem with them.
at the time I got them for $299 each, with Seekins precision lightweight keymod handguard, without BCG and charging handle
works fine for me

Got one in 458 SOCOM and like it. No problems but to be honest I don't have many rounds through it yet.

I bought the Brownells "brand" for my 300 Upper, read too many negative reviews to buy the Radical Firearms one you bought. I hope it works and they have the issues taken care of that people have complained about, luckily Brownells is awesome to deal with in terms of exchanges. A lot of guys were complaining about the machining on the take-down and pivot pin wasn't right so it wouldn't fit their lowers. That was something I personally didn't want to fool with.

Thanks for writing-I tried it out and it works - pins line up - bolt went together I cocked it and dry fired it without incident.

Run it. They had a few growing pains that really weren't that bad, but have corrected the issue. Hard to beat the price and what they're giving you. Enjoy!

I'm glad to hear that! I'm always a fan of smaller companies making good stuff for decent/cheaper prices. Since Primary Arms and Brownells are carrying their stuff now, I figured they had gotten the "quirks" worked out. I'm now intrigued/interested in the 458 SoCom upper. Although, I think If I buy another upper before buying the girlfriend an engagement ring, I may be dead due to said new upper lol.

I'm glad you found somebody to share your life with. I been married for 41 years. You can always find a upper. But finding somebody to share your life with is hard to come by - congratulations.
