Ruger AR556 getting cheaper

So far today, I've received Three e-mails from different places advertising the AR556 on sale for $479.99. Grab a Gun, Sportsman's Outdoor Super Store, and Sportsman's guide. Actually Sportsman's guide is selling them for $455.99. That's the club member price.

I'm glad ARs are coming down. I remember not long ago thinking that $600 was a great price for an AR.

It's peculiar that everyone has them on sale for the same price on the same day.

Makers had production ramped up, with Trump being elected sales dropped off. Prices will come down.

Yep; when Anderson lower receivers are $49 again, everywhere, then you know things have settled down.

Very good guess, and highly likely. Even savage is now making ar's so a large frame ar is a good guess. I mean they have the sr762 but maybe it will be a budget priced direct impingement 762. They might even be expanding to different calibers like 7mm-08, 243 win, or 6.5 creedmoor. It seems the 6.5 creedmoor is all the rage lately.

Let just hope its not proprietary, and built on a dpms or armalite pattern for maximum compatibility. Those platforms have the widest amount of aftermarket parts for the consumer.

You might want to compare shipping costs on these various vendors. Even though Cheaper Than Dirt might have good prices they over charge for shipping which pretty much equalizes the total price. CTD was a price gouger during the last ammo/primer shortage. I haven't compared the others shipping costs but CTD seemed quite high.
