Wilson Combat Q Comp on a AR 556 - Crush washer challenge

Recently purchased this muzzle device/compensator from Wilson combat.
I took of the OEM flash hidder and trying to mount the WC using the new crush washer I discovered that I need 3/4 of a turn to get it aligned properly.

It seems impossible to turn it so much though.
Any recommendations ?

Keep trying ?
Use a thinner crush washer ?
Use a simple washer instead ?

The Crush Washer can easily withstand more than 360 degrees. Support the barrel and use a proper wrench. You Tube and Google have a lot of info on proper installation.

You can also get some indexing washers (packet of washers of different thicknesses) to help get it in the right position without super crushing the crush washer.

I got mine from Precision Armament along with their muzzle brake for my SR762 and SR556 ARs.

Wilson Combat, Online Technical Support were very fast to respond to my mail and suggested to remove some material from the crush washer, which I did.
QComp is installed successfully now.

Thanks all for your comments and guidance
