Whats up guys, I just purchased a mini 14 a few days ago. Im guessing its an older model because of the screw in the side of the stock. I was just wondering if i got a good deal. Paid $550 Its brown stock and stainless action It was purchased new in 87 and put 2 boxes of ammo through before i bought it, also looks flawless I plan to make it custom. Ive seen a bunch of stocks for them. Does anyone know a website that a can look through to see them all. thanks |

What type of stock are you looking for? I also have a Mini 14 Stainless Ranch rifle 1999 vintage. Mine has the birch stock and also the screw in the side. My gun looks like it was never fired when I got it just before Christmas 09. If you want a composite stock there are plenty of choice's . But when I was looking I wanted a laminated stock for mine like you see on the Ruger 10/22's but good luck finding one! But now I have decided I like the gun as is. My only change is adding a scope and sighting the gun in. Go out and shoot your Mini they are really fun gun to shoot!
