Much appreciation for all the hints, tips, tricks, etc regarding first use of a new AR556. Purchased one today for $460 plus tax. Not a newbie to guns and such but oddly enough have never even touched an AR before. I am sure there is a bit of a learning curve but with the knowledgable folks here I should be just fine.

I have been running Magtech NATO 5.56x45 FMJ in 62gr. NO STEEL PENETRATOR ammo allowed at our range.

Like the 1:8 twist.
