I do not, but a friend used to have one on his Mini 14 before he foolishly sold it. I have shot his gun with the above stock and really liked it.

**edited to add** Another friend just got a new short barreled Mini 14 and added an ATI collapsible/folding stock. I have not shot that yet, but after handling it I much preferred the Choate stock.

Choate pistol grip stock

I hope this response still is useful since the OP was 3 mths ago. I've had a Choate on a 183 series SS mini for more than 25 yrs and have never regretted it except for the following: with the pistol grip, the angle of trigger pull causes my finger to get pinched between the trigger tip and the trigger guard every shot! When I compare this trigger with my blue 181 series, this one has less trigger "curl" which contributes to the finger sliding down to the pinch area. Last week I sent it back to Ruger in hopes they can do something with the trigger...Otherwise the stock itself is rugged but comfortable, while adding more than an inch of pull. Also the slight hook shape allows the rifle to hang muzzle down to give me more useable space in the safe.

More on Choate stock...

My grip has a hollow which could be used as a neat little tote compartment for something like a bore snake maybe if one likes to clean a bore every 20-30 rds, or a sight adjustment tool. Would be nice if the stock had a slide off hatch here like the one on my Oly Arms CAR. If anyone has ever home made a cap or cover for this, I'd like to see any ideas.
