So does that mean once I pop her cherry, she will be clinging to me forever?

Well ****, I am doing it all wrong... I already spent money and ordered her some Magpul stuff so she can look pretty and I haven't gotten anything in return yet

First impression:

The stock is A HUGE improvement over the factory Ruger stock and is still a big improvement over the Magpul MOE (basic) stock. It is very sturdy. Doesn't wobble or have any play like the factory stock and Magpul MOE stock. I was originally going to get the Magpul CTR stock but the place I was going to order from didn't have any in stock. I stumbled across this SL stock and it had great reviews online. I am happy I went the SL route.

The hand guard feels real nice but it took a bit of finesse and strength to install. I applied a little CLP to the delta ring threads so that should help it not seize. Plus, I didn't tighten it down like the Ultimate Warrior like some of you out there lol.

The plan is to get some range time this weekend and that will determine if I end up getting the SL hand grip and trigger guard. I honestly would only be changing the trigger guard to match the other SL components. I am weird like that lol.

Next week, I plan to order 3 20 round Gen 3 Pmags and 3 30 round Gen 3 Window Pmags. That more than likely will be all the mags I need... Until I buy/build another AR lol.

I haven't decided on the EOTech Red Dot or Aimpoint Red Dot but I probably won't be buying it until the beginning of next year. So, I will cross that bridge when I get there.

Back to the hand grip; anyone have any experience with the Magpul hand grips? I have fairly small hands so going any bigger, than what is on the Ruger now, I won't be happy with. So I know which models not to waste my time looking at, which Magpul grips are a step up in size?

FWIW- I changed out the factory furniture for Magpul MOE....because I could.

How is your strike fire working? Is it staying secure? I have one on mine and it starts out tight then after shooting some it seems to have a little movement in the rail, but nut is still tight.

How necessary or desirable is the extended charging rod on the scoped Ruger AR556?
Thanks
