Update: new Daniel Defense stock and vertical grip, new JP enterprise adjustable gas block and the one mod everyone should do (in my opinion ) a Surefire muzzle break.

Ruger AR556. Vortex strikerfire 2 red dot with 3x magnifier. The magnifier mount allows it to flip out of the way. The default is to flip to the left. That's a bit of a hassle for a right eye shooter. Therefore the mount has to be attached backwards to allow the magnifier to flip to the right.

The delta ring did come loose but that was because I didn't tighten it much when I installed the quad rail. The Hexmags (all 3 colors) worked very well on both AR556 and my other build. Loaded fine, shot fine, ejected fine.
Interesting... and thanks for the update

The AR556 already has a bigger/wider trigger guard... Is the Magpul one worth getting?

Ended up getting the Magpul SL Grip and Magpul MLok Angled Fore Grip...

Magpul claims that the SL grip gives a more natural position. It doesn't look like much compared to the Ruger grip but I will tell you, they aren't lying. At least in my case they aren't. Also, it doesn't feel smaller than the Ruger grip but as you can tell from the pics, it is. The texture on the SL grip feels good as well.

Vertical fore grips don't feel right to me. So, I decided to give the angled fore grip a try. I instantly fell in love with it. I no longer have to grip "around" the hand guard. I can pull the firearm into my shoulder and it makes the stabilizing the AR easier.

My previous plan was to get an Aimpoint or EOTech but I decided I will save that money for my AR build that will be geared towards being a true battle rifle. I decided I will be going with the Hi-Lux Micro-Max B-Dot Leatherwood Hi-Lux Leatherwood Hi-Lux Optics Micro-Max B-Dot Tactical Red Dot Sight MSRP is $250 but can be had for around $175 from opticsplanet.
