On your first pic it looks the same as mine has a small gap between the catch and the lower receiver?

It's got me worried now. Should I send it in because of that fact of it being gaped I don't want issues down the line with the rifle.?? Paranoid now

oldag will become famous soon enough
If your rifle is functioning fine, as it has by your prior description, I would not worry at all.

The rifles that are malfunctioning do so early and often.

I don't really know.. but if you're not having issues now maybe if you just stick with the DPMS mags you will be ok

I would shoot it a few more times and see how it goes you can always return it to ruger at any time if you have problems in the future

I just realize that you're the same guy from YouTube lol.. I was also thinking that you should not really have any FTE' s OR FTF'S (maybe once in a blue moon) ...so like I was saying I would teste it a few more time and see if you keep getting FTF'S every once in awhile if you do then I would probably send it in (depends on how picky you are)....I would think it should run as good as mine..... I am planning on getting some videos of me and some other people shooting our guns and I'll be making a new YouTube page for that when I do.. I will let you know so you could see how the SR 762 is running for me...

The only failure I had was with 24 yo Venezuelan ammunition.
Never a failure with the other brands once I put it on 3 the venezualan ammo ran fine.. So my guess is that it was very under powered for it to FTE and FTF only that brand ammo .i can shoot everything else on setting 2
