So Terry, are you saying that in N.H, you can carry in a bar, a correctional facility, in any school or school function, in a polling place, at an airport past the screening point, in a hospital, and at public or private premises where the owner doesn't want someone to be armed?

Also, how do yall pay for roads, state employees and all the other costs that the state incurs, without state sales tax?

You can carry in a church in Texas, unless the church says otherwise.

yes you can take it down to your friends house 5 doors down maybe even 5 blocks down as long as your destination is his house (there is no determination of how far you can carry it between destinations) it is not illegal for you to have a firearm in his house. but as you said your destination cannot be a public place .but if it is private property and someone allowed you to have that gun on their property you can carry it from your car to their house from your house to their house .. and they also changed another part of the law .. before you had to prove what destination you were going to..... now they have to prove that you weren't going to the destination that you say you were going to.. may sound the same but very different... basically before... you were guilty and you had to prove yourself innocent now you are innocent and they have to prove you guilty .... I watch this all go through on the news when it was happening .....there was a lot of people and lawyers on the news talking about how it basically makes it legal to carry your gun concealed without a license .. some of them basically did not like it but it flew under the radar and they got it past....so if you park your car and have peoples houses strategically placed lol you can basically walk anywhere you want as long as you don't go on someone else's property that doesn't want you're gun there

also this has nothing to do with the castle law as far as I know it is a completely separate law

High as hell property taxes, and sales taxs on cars and boats hidden as "registration" fees

Maybe you're right....I'm not sure to be honest but from what I remember in CHL class it was pretty specific....At the end of the day I don't really care too much as I have my CHL so I'm covered.....

Anyway, do you know which flash hider works best with SR762 as I don't like the stock ones....

I just looked at that.....I like the fact that it does both "hider" and "muzzle brake/rise"....Has anyone else actually tried it? Would like to read a few reviews.....Will this size fit our 762's?

Went to gun club today with both SR762's. Before I went I used some powdered Teflon on the followers on all mags and inside surfaces. I shot 240 rounds through each rifle, many of which were rapid fire. I paid no attention as to how I put the mags in the mag well....just loaded up and shot at various distances from 50-100 yards.....In short not one single failure of any kind to report....nada...nothing.....I feel I can officially report that the SR762 is an awesome rifle....and it was spot on grouping wise.....I can't say enough good things.....I hope this helps anyone out there still hesitant to pull the trigger on a purchase or for those still experiencing problems, get the rifle to Ruger....three weeks later you will be glad you did....

I've got 200 rounds downrange behind the Primary Weapon System's FSC30 which has the equivalent flash signature of an A2 birdcage, with no muzzle rise and recoil similar to the 22-250. It's simply amazing, but you do not want to be standing beside the muzzle as the percussion blast is extreme.

Hi all,

First time post and want to say thanks to everyone contributing to this board as I've been watching everyone's feedback with anticipation over the past month while deliberating a 762 purchase. I'm getting pretty close to deciding whether this is the platform I want and thought I'd go to Cabela's (Lehi, UT) to give it another look before making a final decision. I decided to call ahead to see if they were in stock and was informed by the rep that all their 762s were recalled by Ruger last week.

I'm curious if anyone else has heard rumors of a recall. I wanted to ask what the serial # range was on their inventory, but figured they probably hadn't a clue.

Again, thanks for everyone's input and advice to other's in my situation.
