Factory screw will need a regular screw driver .
The only after market that I know of will need a Allen .
I believe it is a 6-48 thread.
Bought my nickel plate screws from Brownells .
Hope that helps .

Do you have a 22/45 ? If so I think its a Allen
But I believe all MKIII come with a regular screw
The only after market I know of are the ones I bought from Brownells that would use the Allen
I'm not a 100% positive on the 22/45

I used an allen wrench on my MKIII - suprised me at first. My MKII uses a flat screw driver

My latest "std" Mark III, purchased a couple months ago, has T10 torx fasteners for the grips.

I purchased this mark 111 target about two months ago, a 3/32 allen wrench
seemed to fit the best, so that is what I used, seemed a little loose but it
worked. So I guess some mark 111s has slotted, torx & allen Thanks for all the imfo.

Yes I found this out the hard way by stripping one by using a torx wrench. Fortunately this did not affect the bushing.
