New Ruger MK III target model 10159 YYEESSSS!

So yesterday I pick up my new MK III from my local Gander Mountain after a 3 day wait ( CCW not received yet ) and proceed to the public firearm range in the Ocala Florida National Forrest. Straight out of the box at 15 yards this thing is a nail tacker ! I am one HAPPY old DUDE ! no issues what so ever with 4 mags of Remington Thunder Bolt ammo.

Beautiful. Now you're hooked. You'll need a couple Mark Is and Standards, couple Mark IIs and Standards, and a few more Mark IIIs and a Standard or two.

For now I'll settle on just cleaning the bore and breach All though there are some excellent You Tube videos out there on disassembly on a new tight MK III The grips for my hand feels like they were custom made for me. A friend of mine who was with me said he found them too big for his hands but did like the gun.

You'll get the hang of field stripping. It's just tight at first...but will loosen up.

Congrats getting your MKII. I like those fancy grips.
You're bringing back memories shooting in the Ocala National Forest. That was one of the ranges I frequented every so often when I lived in Marion (Moron) Co.

Nice-looking Ruger.

I'd wish you good luck but you don't need luck with a Ruger, they just work......
