Hoglegman ... It's a pretty simple process. On the rear sight, tap out the rear sight pivot pin (using the appropriate size pin punch), then remove the elevation adjustment screw (it's unnecessary to remove the base of the sight from the slide). Secure the fire sight insert with the elevation screw and tap the pivot pin back into place. I believe (but could be wrong here as I don't have an SR22), that the front sight is just held in place in the groove with a set screw, in which case you just loosen the set screw, tap the sight base out with a non-marring punch and tap the new sight back in place (Hopefully someone will quickly come along and confirm the front sight configuration).
