Exclamation Williams fire sights on SR 22

Has anyone out there installed Williams Fire Sights on their SR 22 handgun? If so, how difficult is it or.....should I give the job to a gunsmith?

I did a install on a Buckmark. With alittle patience it can be done. The hardest part was getting the little spring installed into the new sight. Other than that it was pretty easy.

Hoglegman ... It's a pretty simple process. On the rear sight, tap out the rear sight pivot pin (using the appropriate size pin punch), then remove the elevation adjustment screw (it's unnecessary to remove the base of the sight from the slide). Secure the fire sight insert with the elevation screw and tap the pivot pin back into place. I believe (but could be wrong here as I don't have an SR22), that the front sight is just held in place in the groove with a set screw, in which case you just loosen the set screw, tap the sight base out with a non-marring punch and tap the new sight back in place (Hopefully someone will quickly come along and confirm the front sight configuration).

Thanks for the suggestions. The Williams sights don't include instructions.
