Hello Everyone,
I'm having a small issue and wondering if someone can point me in the right direction.
I bought a 22/45 last week and tested it out, everything was working fine.
Then I took it home, followed some youtube videos and installed the Volquartsen Mark II accurizing kit with Volquartsen hammer bushing, I also took out the detent and spring on the bolt release so I could slingshot it.
Afterwards everything was working fine for 2-3 range trips other than the trigger slack screw kept backing itself out, I would tighten it up for a crisp pull but then after 2-3 shots it would have a ton of slack in it.
I took it home, backed the screw out all the way and added locktite, at which point i cocked it, pulled the trigger and held it down then overtightend this trigger slack screw, then i let go of the trigger and slowly backed out the screw until i heard the click of the trigger reset, i left it there overnight and now have a nice crisp trigger pull consistently, but onto the issue....
When I went to the range the next day everything was working fine but most times when it chambered the last round from the magazine it wouldn't fire, as if the trigger didnt reset, *only on the last round*
There was no click and the trigger wouldn't move, if I slightly pulled the bolt back and released I would be able to fire this last round, also if i dropped the empty magazine I would be able to fire the last round, or if i wigged the bolt catch i would be able to fire the last round. Weird, it happend pretty frequently.
I tried looking online for people with the same issue and found this thread, it was never answered though.

I also found this thread which if is a common issue maybe the trigger isnt resetting because the "less creep" of the last round puts it over the barrier that allows it to reset?
Ruger Mark 3, last round
Thanks guys! I can try backing out the screw a little more but I like the crisp trigger pull.
