I had emailed hi vis for sights. They said they didn't have them available yet. Which ones did you get and did they work good. Is the issue that there is no back sight from them? Thanks

I used Bright Sights Hi visibility gun sight coating, In a Light hi Viz yellow.

I like the white or Yellow, the brighter the better for me.

Eyaker, I did as you said and so far looking good, think I need to put another coat of paint in the rear sight groove, a little black showing on the edge. Thanks for the info.

Gunzilla is an unknown quantity at this point
Mine got a similar treatment, only I went with Orange for the front sight because most of my targets are white steel plates at the Practical .22 matches.

Even with my aging eyesight, I now see no reason to spend any money on new sights....these really POP!

Update:

I could not get these sighted in, they are Not for the 22/45 LITE

I just installed some Williams Bright Sights

They are VERY BRIGHT, easy to see, I would never go back to stock sights

These are very nice, Very Bright, and did i mention Very Easy to See.

Np. 70957 williams firesights. 60$ through brownells. Install took 10mins.

Front sight is a lot taller than the stock one. Maxed adjustment for rear sight and all is well at 50ft. From what I see, u wont be able to zero past this distance without additonal mods to the rear sights and without it looking more like one of those giant wings on a rice rocket honda.
Apparently there are lower front available somewhere. Havent had the time or money to go this route as I just picked up an m&p 22 . A lower FS would solve this issue. I just couldnt stand the all black sights...

North country gal will become famous soon enough
I've been painting sights almost as long as I've owned guns (a darn long time). Recently, I found a paint at Menrard's that works great. It's Rust-Oleum Gloss Sunburst Yellow #7747 and it's right there with fiber optic sights for visibility against all kinds of backgrounds. It is oil based, though, so it does take 24 hours to dry, but it is tough stuff, once it is dry.

Aight, for thise eho have issues sighting in williams sights... 2 heights are available but both arent made by williams. Please let me know if you find otherwise cause Im off to the range. HRB2007 hiViz is significantly shorter just looking at the pics than the williams front. Yea, doesnt look as nice but it would appear to me that if your not wanting such a high rear sight or just cant seem to hit sh!t...this would be the route to go.

Not sure whether this has already been asked, but has anyone tried the Tac Sol Front Sights (.375" height)? Compatible with the standard Ruger 22/45 barrel?
