Well shot with the new sear, WOW...
Grip, clean, no thought trigger pull. I was not sure what to expect, but I must admit I was impressed. Well worth the price and time.
This only made my shooting better, and even more fun.
Highly recommend it.

Love the VQ parts, just wish they weren't so expensive. Seems to be mandatory with nearly all aftermarket parts though.

I agree, but I guess, like they say... you get what you pay for.
They are great add-ons.... I enjoy my MK even more with them!!
Not to bad, overall, to install either!

Thinking about this for my 1974 standard but have seen reports that the mk II/III sear sometimes will interfere with the safety and be too tall to. Allow the gun to cock. Anybody with those issues care to comment?

The only thing that will happen is you will be capable of engaging the safety when the hammer is down. In a Mark I generation pistol the thumb safety lever also is an indicator of a cocked hammer. This is why VQ doesn't have that model listed in its list. I had a discussion with Nic Volquartsen about that very thing many years ago and he shared that with me. Since the engagement of the thumb safety was considered a safety feature of the earlier model they weren't recommending their target sear for use. Even though the later models are capable of engaging the safety lever with the hammer down (uncocked) the MK1/Standard manual pointed out that step as a feature. I have replaced many earlier models with the VQ target sear at the owner's request and even have one in my personal A-100 framed Mark I.
