I don't know, maybe guns shouldn't be made from some
of the materials we use today.
She wanted a new Smith .22 and thought she would like
the 317 Kit Gun.......'til she held one. It doesn't even feel real.
She opted for the Smith M63.....and it had to go to S&W immediately
for new screws, new front sight, cut forcing cone.....
Really wanted the KSP-242-8 but haven't been able to find one
since Ruger put them out last Sept.

I would be at my range today with it if it had been a good one. Attachment 4514 Attachment 4515 | They will return your gun back to you directly--no FFL needed.
BTW-a friend of mine had a LCR .38 & ended up with 3 bullets in the barrel. I have no idea why he kept pulling the trigger or why the gun didn't blow up in his face. I wish I had taken a pic of it.

since Ruger put them out last Sept. | I have had absolutely no problems with my LCR .38 after firing many rounds and several friends have them with no problems. After liking the LCR .38 so well, I purchased the LCR .22 and had a great deal of problems, repairs, and finally Ruger offering a new replacement. I think that if you look up LCR .22 you will find the same problems occurring with each owner. I hope that Ruger has solved them with newer prouction units, and my new replacement will have the issues resolved. I must say that Ruger has tried to solve all the problems.

| Ruger CS goofs, slightly
When the Ruger rep called Tuesday, she said she had my replacement in front of her and it would ship that afternoon.
It shipped Wednesday. Made a 45 minute round trip to the dealer today for nothing, so back again tomorrow.
At least while on the phone with Ruger today, I got tracking numbers (UPS confirms shipping) and a serial number. My original LCR-22 was in the 3000 range, the replacement is the 29000 range. Hopefully they straightened out all the bugs in making those 26000 guns.

Ruger shipped my LCR .22 replacement yesterday so I am waiting to receive it and I wondering if the newer production number LCRs are any better than those first produced.

Reported on my replacement here: New and different LCR-22, and range report
They did figure it out over the course of 26k guns. I still like the stainless frame and finishes of my LCR-357 better; but the LCR-22 is a great little gun when they get it right.

I wonder if the long repair times is unique to revolvers? I sent a P95 back for diagnistic & repair. It took a total of 11 days, including shipping transit of 3 days.
All of that aside, I hope that the OP's LCR .22 issues are resolved to his satisfaction.

Thus it had to be sent to an FFL such that the "new firearm" could be transferred to me.
