| A good price for a 22/45 Target 5.5
Ok, I need help. The Cabela's in St. Louis is having a big gun sale starting 8/18.
They are featuring Ruger's( damm them, they know I'm not well, 5 new guns since Dec.) at what I think is an OK price for Cabela's.
They have the MKIII 22/45 Target 5.5 Bull with 3 mags & a rug for $299.
It's a Sat.(8/18 only) doorbuster. How is that for price?
They also have 10/22 TD's for $319 & Ruger America Rifles for $339.
To top it off the Cabela's Club card gets 0% interest & no payments for 1 year.
I know I'm in the wrong place, It's like sitting in the bar asking if you should have 1 more. What should I do?

If you have what you need and the money for what you want, then I would get what I wanted.

I paid $285 for my 10140 Target with Cocobolo grips, so I think what you posted is a good deal. Make sure its the replaceable grip 10140, because the non-replaceable grip guns are about $50 less, and that wouldnt be such a great deal then.

Thanks weblance. It's a 10107. I thought ALL the 22/45's had replaceable grips!
Buy the way, how does yours shoot & if you could only have 1, would you pick the lite?

I have been looking for a 10140 and it seems they are hard to find right now.

Over a rest, when I do my job, it will shoot 1" groups at 25 yards with most ammo. If I could only have one (I have 4) it would be the LITE, because of the threaded barrel, adjustable sights and the Lightweight Upper. Its an awesome gun.

I have two, the superceded 10110 and the 10140 (RP).
Both good shooters, and I paid a lot more.
But this is AU.

I think I just figured something out about the scarce availability of the 22/45 with the replaceable grips.....
That's the same lower for the Lite.....
And now that the Lite is such a hit they are not making many standard 22/45 with the replaceable grips, they are using the cheaper lower. When you look at the price its a no brainer to get a Lite over a replaceable grip 22/45 for $40-60.

I just wasn't sold on the color/style. I think I would have been fine with it once I had it.

Yea I got my permit in NJ so I can buy one. Just need to find a place that has em in stock...
I am renewing it and that gives me 3 more months to find it. If I can't get it local in 2 I am going online and getting it from Gunbroker or somethin
