Federal FMJ - Cheap, consistent from round to round and the brass is satifactory and I conserve it for reloading.

Wolf Match Target. There is better but I consider the price and accuracy a sweet spot.

Federal value pack from walmart. If I don't get over to walmart I go to my LGS in town and get federal champion. Pretty much the same ammo. Some people say the champion has fewer failures but I have had good luck with each.

I run in my 10/22, Thunderbolt, cause it's cheap and my 22's spit it out with a good bit of accuracy. And so far what i've found to the most accurate out of my 10/22 is the Wolf Match Target.
Wolf Match Target, Target.
Not bad for 25 yards rested, stock barrel, sights and trigger. It's just under a 1/4 inch grouping.

I've become addicted to the cheap-o federal auto match at WM. My Shilen barreled 10/22 shoots it almost as well as Eley Black EPS.
My little SR seems to like it also.
If I'm shooting for money I'd have to say Eley is my favorite.

cci sub sonic work great for me. little high on price, but spot on. great for target and plinking, but need more speed for mid-sized small game hunting.

When I'm shooting one ragged hole with either Anschutz I use Eley Tenex. CCI Green Tag is hard to beat for an 'affordable' target round. I haven't found any guns that don't do well with it. . |

My first choice is always Federal 40 gr. I haven't had any issues pack after pack it's accurate and consistent. It's cheap and always available too. I'v also used CCI from time to time, it shoots cleaner than anything else I've used. A bit pricey for 22LR though. I also use Winchester bulk, nothing special about Winchester it's cheap that's why I buy it.
