got my 22/45 lite

Just picked this up today. My friend and I went to the local outdoor store for him to pick up a .308 and then I saw the shiney gold jewl on the pistol rack. I couldn't resist, I already have a 22/45 target and doing a tacsol upper and adding after market grips on it, but at the price I couldn't justify paying the price of two pistols to make one. So when I saw this I couldn't help it, I can't wait till Wednesday now to go to the indoor range to test it out

You will love it. I have a Mark II I bought new in 1990, and I cant believe how much lighter, the LITE is. Its accurate and feels just like the Mark II when shooting. It was a great idea, and I think Ruger has hit a home run on this one. Really makes me want a Single Six Lightweight...

I recommend the Triple K Sight Channel Holster #754 for your new LITE.

Nice!
Did you change the sights? Looks like an after market rear sight...(can not see the front sight)
Great looking grips!

I changed my sights and added a compensator for fathers day and just ordered a trigger kit for my birthday goodie. Its a great gun just a little lacking in the sight area.

Hi James, if the group does not mind, could you tell me what the requirements are? Please feel free to PM me if you prefer. Just my crazy curiosity. Thanks
