I cannot see why but does a new firearm have to be approved by a board or whatever like in massachussetts or california. Just a question? that may be why the delay.

Glad I live in Arizona. Picked up my new SR-22 from my LGS last week.

Was at my LGS on Sunday and overheard the salesman saying that the SR22s are selling as quick as they come in. Guess I'd better get my name on the list.

I've heard the same from local dealers. I did see a few at a recent show, and could have made a purchase before they ran out if I'd been in the market. Maybe will do so eventually.

Note to josz, who started this thread - welcome to the forum from southern Arizona!! Hope you will find your SR22 soon.

They are periodically available here in the People's Republic of California but they sell out instantly when they appear. I put my name on the list for a second one. Still waiting....

Kentucky Gun Co. has the SR22 for sale for 299.99 + free shipping. It's where I got mine and it's the best price I've seen.

I live in Illinois and got mine online (grabagun.com) right after they came out. I don't think its an "Illinois" thing. Just that these have been selling as fast as they can be produced.

Being from Illinois, are you familiar with Illinois House Bill 1294? Basically it would classify almost all semi automatic firearms as "assault" weapons and ban them. Contact you rep to help get this bill put down ASAP.

This will keep happening as long as you keep electing Democrats.

Exactly. After reading this bill, I think even if it passed it could be easily overturned by the Supreme Court and if not the Illionois court, the federal for sure.

They are hard to find as well in Missouri. I just got my hands on one at a VERY small gun shop in town. I went in thinking there was no way they had them. Well they had three, I got the second one and by the time I picked it up on the weekend the other was gone as well.

Every gun shop said it was the hottest little gun and no one can get their hands on them.

I have one, but sadly with in a day it was on a UPS airplane heading back.

The SR 22 is no longer on the roster. Must be a SSE.
