Models don't stay in production forever unless sales dictate it. Look back through the years - LOTS of MK & 22/45 variations have come and gone. Lagging sales means it goes away - basic manufacturing rule.

#10146 is gone as well. I got one of the last in January. The catalogue changes were made over the holidays.

Hmmm, don't see any slab side 22/45 Targets either.

Guess that makes mine more collectable.

some of these mods in the 22/45 made the gun almost as expensive as mkiiis so seems the buyers just went to the mkiii or the cheaper 2/45s
these inbetween models seems to have lost out

hmmmmm - collectors value?

Discontinued doesn't equate to collectable. Remember, there's been thousands upon thousands of these made. LOTS of variations have been made but that doesn't make those necessarily collectable either. If one is to buy one for that purpose, then to keep it as such, tuck it away and don't use it. Use + "collectable" = less collectable.

I just bought that same model 10110 today. Test fired 12/21/11. Hoping to take it to the range tomorrow.

Guns and gasoline appear to be controlled by perceived shortages. Ruger 22/45 mags were about $19 bucks 3 month ago and now on the net they are $30+ when you can find them. Now that this is an election year I hope we are not in for another redo of ammo shortages and ect.
